Pool FAQ
Everything homeowners ask about concrete and fiberglass plunge pools in Nashville.
What is a Plungie pool?
A Plungie is a precast concrete plunge pool — cast in a factory and craned into your yard ready to install. It's a real concrete pool, not fiberglass or a container, and because the shell is built off-site it's swimmable in days rather than the months a poured pool takes.
How much does a concrete plunge pool cost in Nashville?
The Plungie shell itself runs about $25,000–$35,000 (fiberglass is similar). A complete, finished installation — site prep, crane, plumbing, electrical, decking, permits, and equipment — typically runs $85,000–$160,000, depending on the model, your site, and the features you choose. We give you a clear, itemized quote after a quick look at your yard.
How long does installation take?
Because the shell arrives complete, most installs are measured in days. After site prep the pool is craned in, connected, backfilled, and started up — a fraction of the disruption of a traditional build.
Will a pool fit in a small or sloped backyard?
This is our specialty. Precast pools come in compact sizes and can be set in-ground, partially raised, or above-ground on a slope — so tight, difficult yards that scare off other builders are exactly where we shine.
What sizes are available?
Plungie precast concrete: Arena (11'5" round), Studio (12'×7'), Original (15'×8'), and Max (20'×10'). We also offer instant fiberglass pools from The Little Pool Co. (Relax and Dip ranges) for above-ground and rooftop installs.
Do I need permits and approvals?
Yes — county, electrical, plumbing, stormwater, and safety-fence approvals. As your licensed contractor we handle the permitting and inspections so the install meets every local code.
In-ground or above-ground?
Both. A precast concrete pool can be installed fully in-ground, or above / partially above ground — ideal for sloped yards or limited excavation. Little Pool Co. fiberglass pools are designed to stand fully above ground as well.
How is a concrete plunge pool different from a regular pool?
It's designed for compact outdoor spaces. With a smaller footprint and flat bottom, a plunge pool needs less water, fewer chemicals, and less maintenance — while still being a true concrete pool.
Is the pool covered by a warranty?
Yes — every Plungie is backed by a 10-year structural and internal ecoFinish warranty.
