Rock is the Brentwood story

Limestone sits close to the surface across a lot of Brentwood, especially on the ridges and the upper parts of lots off Concord, Wikle and the Old Smyrna side. A traditional pool dig on those lots means hammering or blasting, and rock removal is priced by the hour with no honest ceiling on it. A precast Plungie does not need that hole. The shell is cast off site and set on a prepared base, so the excavation is shallower and far more predictable. Will rock make my Brentwood pool cost more?

Far less than it would with a gunite pool. A precast shell sets on a prepared base rather than inside a deep excavation, so there is much less rock to move, and we can set the pool higher to avoid it entirely where it makes sense.

Do you blast?

My back yard is a long way from the street. Is that a problem?
